hey everybody, take a look around, put your money where your mouth is, take your eyes off the ground

"love is our weapom" by never shout never

completely in love with never shout never and christofer drew at the moment, which i had the pleasure of seeing perform live the other day along with the maine, and also met christofer drew himself, such a beautiful, sweet, lovely guy! and i haven't stopped listening to his music since and reminiscing being at concorde at brighton, singing at the top of my lungs and watching mr. drew in awe and performing with such passion and love for what he does.

but anyway, moving onto fashion and college and such, we are now onto the process of making our final design, me and the fashion lot have to buy our choice of fabric over the weekend and have around two/three weeks of making it. a little bit annoyed that it was a bit short notice, being a student, with no job, or £££, but my lovely lecturer is buying me just a normal two metre plain white cotton, in which i'm paying her back, happy days.

as you've probably guessed from the pictures above, i am in love with tie-dye, it reminds me of summer, and very late 1960's, a la woodstock, not only is it an easy process, you can pick and tie up any random parts of the fabric and it comes out a treat, wheather the whole thing is covered in colour or has the divine white rippled circles, it's still very effective, i am hoping to use either very earthy colours, such as brown, green, yellows and blues, to create that "dirty" and "natural" look, or to use summery, bright, fresh, vibrant colours, like yellow, orange, red, blue...you know the drill.

and i'm hoping to silkscreen over the top of the tie-dye with my chrysanthemum tattoo style flower, in a much darker shade, and i'll probably wipe down the thick dye 765874657843 times to make the design really thick and add those bold lines, i must upload a picture of some of my silkscreen samples, but after searching high and low all day for them, they have pretty much disappeared off the face of the earth, not just one, all of them, which includes my metre long fabric length, which took me ages and running around like a headless chicken to get it finished in the space of half an hour, if they're lost forever and ever, i think i might cry 'til my eyeballs are like cement.
