i've been told that my new project that starts in june, is based on, drum roll please...anything we like, seriously, it can be anything that we want, as long as we back it up and show all our inspiration/work/samples, et cetra in our sketch books, and you know what that means i'll be basing mine on? you got it, the 1960s!

what a great way to show my favourite decade, ever. for fashion, music, history, beauty, everything, i love it so much, from the early a-line skirts and dresses, peter pan collars, the beatles squeaky clean, sharp and snappy suits and their all time classic mop tops, the famous mini skirt, thanks to mary quant, cultural groups such as mods, rockers, teddy boys and skinheads, and the au natural, loose, flowing hippy days of the '60s, so much stuff jam packed in the space of ten years! so much so, that i'll be racking my brains for days on what part of the '60s to decide on.

but it's definitely something that i want to look at, as well as adding my favourite era, it's also adding my personal style into the college fashion studio, watch this space!
