well the rain exploded with a mighty crash, as we fell into the sun

"band on the run" by paul mccartney and wings

still in love with tie-dye, i decided to use this technique on my final product for "natural order", i chose to use very earthy, yet vibrant colours, and after rinising the residue (which i had to rinse out in my bath tub, with the water ending up looking like something you'd find in a sewege) the colours came out looking gorgeous! i then silkscreened over the top of my cotton, with my chrysanthemum tattoo styled flower, i wanted to continue using the earthy colour palette, and used much darker shades over to make the silkscreened image stand out, but adding enough definition to not over power the whole thing too much.

surface detailing is required in our final product, and i chose to use hand embroidary, i done a range of stitches, which included just a plain, ordinary running stitch, and my all time trademark, the chain stitch!

here are some of the pictures of the hand embroidary process, i do have many more photographs of the whole documentation of the making, but they are currently on another classmate's camera, which i'm still awaiting to receive via e-mail, and we also had to create garments by draping on the stand, i'm very happy to say i have finished my whole fabric length, which is a huge wait off my shoulders, but that weight is soon to put back on my shoulders, or maybe even my head, i have to finish off all of my sketchbook, my four A1 illustrations, etc, all having to be completed for friday 8th, i think i may go and drown my sorrows and eat my feelings in chocolate, resulting me to being the size of neptune.
