if i look hard enough into the settin' sun, my love will laugh with me before the morning comes

"paint it, black" by the rolling stones

today was the deadline for all of my natural order work to be handed in, which included my sketchbook, my four A1 illustrations and my life drawings, and i can proudly say, that i have completed all of it! champagne for everyone! as i said in one of my previous posts, i draped my fabric length on the stand to create different garments, accessories, etc. and here are the pictures i took:

thick waist belt

long pleated top

long, flowing, pleated maxi dress

pleated, figure hugging pencil dress

medievil style dress

loose, flowing dress with twisted arm straps

high waisted top with dramatic, plunging cleavage neck

1950s style evening dress/gown

and here is the finished picture of the art noveau girl i drew and added lino prints into her hair, so incredibly pleased with it!

i really enjoyed this project, and it's made me more confident as a fashion student, yes, of course it was a challange to design and print a whole two metres worth of fabric, but everyone achieved this goal, and i really hope more projects like this are soon to come
